Hello (again), and welcome back.
As mentioned in the previous newsletter, this space was launched to share insights to the HR Tech space, what we are building, its progress and challenges, and to share my own experiences as a founder in the hope that someone walks away with something useful.
Building
Building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) without clear requirements or customers often feels like navigating in the dark. There’s a natural inclination to keep perfecting the product, adding one more feature or polishing the design just that little bit more. Yet perfection can become a trap and progress hinders. At some point, you have to draw a line and say: “Enough!”
I find this shift uncomfortable. As of the past few years, the expectations from users for software products has increased to the point where inferior user experiences will suffer from the get-go. The minimum-level to play in most software categories is extremely high from both a user interface and experience perspective.
Having said that, a balance must be struck. What’s the point in having the most polished product if no one is using it? This ultimately means stepping out of the safe realm of product development and putting our product in front of real users who may respond with indifference or harsh critique, both of which are good! Only then can we refine our assumptions, confirm whether our solution addresses an actual problem, and start building a real customer base.
The moment we launch will feel premature, but we will experience some relief with all the work we have put into it. Going forward, we hope that instead of an endless cycle of building, we begin a feedback loop that guides our decisions and keeps us responsive to what the market really wants.

Progress
We have made progress! We made a huge push in December and have completed our MVP. Lots to be ironed out but we are going to start signing up users on the wait list.
If you want to be an early adopter or to just check it out, let me know!
